Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the son of Man is?” and they said, “some say John the Baptist, but others Elijah, and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets?” he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Matthew 16:13-15
Jesus is still asking that question of us today. If we claim to be Christians, we are faced with answering, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God." just as Peter did. But will all Christians answer this way and mean it. I think our actions show who the "Living God" truly is to us even if our words declare the above statement.
For whom do we sacrifice?
For whom do we sacrifice?
Who do we idolize?
In whom do we put ALL our trust?
In whom do we put ALL our trust?
Just asking.
