Two New T Shirts

These t-shirts have been altered by removing part of the sleeves and the pockets and making them into rolled roses.  I added pearls to the white and crystal beads to the black.  These go in the shop around the corner.  I'm so thankful to be able to produce beautiful things.
There's a bit of a story behind these rolled flowers.  I thought I had this great idea and then two weeks later, after looking in some high-end catalogues, I found the exact flower on t-shirts and shoes.  Nothing's new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:9--"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."

That's so true! I remember writing in an essay as part of my art degree that there was nothing new under the sun. My tutor really didn't agree with me though! It's funny how different people can come up with the same ideas independantly isn't it? I love those flowers you made. I bet they look even more lovely when they are worn!

Hope you & your family had a wonderful easter. :o)
