The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Even the King James Version makes sense when one wants to learn. However, I'm very happy that newer versions say the same thing in words this simple person can more readily understand, such as
Understanding your word
brings light
to the minds
of ordinary people.
