Being Patient

"Be patient, then, everyone, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near," James 5:7-8. I love the Fall. The days are warm and the nights are cool--perfect for turning the trees into a patchwork of beautiful leaves. God has everything planned, even his second coming, so we need to be patient and enjoy what He has given us today.

This finished piece of fiber art measures approximately 7 1/2" square. I combined layered fabric and pulled yarn and other fibers on a muslin base covered with tulle. I then machine and hand quilted it. It's an experiment with multi-fibers.
