Proverbs 27:9--"The pleasantness of one's friend springs from his earnest council." Proverbs 27:10--"Do not forsake your friend." Ecclesiastes 4:10--"If one falls down his friend can help him up." There are so many scriptures pertaining to friendship; however, there is only one friend who truly matters. Proverbs 18:24--"There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."Allow Jesus to be that friend to you.
I used a playing card as the base of this mixed media art. I adhered some bookbinding material, cotton mesh, a vintage image, ribbons, jute twine, old text, and a button. I etched in gel medium and painted it with gold. I added an aged tag to the top.
