Weeping For A Night

"Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning," Psalm 30:5 (NIV). I found out about two friends whose husbands had died. They went through terrible sorrow but because of their complete trust in God, they were able to survive their loss and eventually married a second time to men God had given them. They are rejoicing now in their new husbands and give credit to God for getting them through their time of weeping. We all have things for which we cry, we regret, or over which we sorrow. Allow God to heal you and bring rejoicing to your soul.

I used a playing card for the base of this art. I painted it, adhered a vintage image, added tears, etched in gel medium and highlighted with gold paint.
