Nothing Is Impossible With God

"Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God," Luke 1:36-37. The angel continued his presentation to Mary by telling her that her cousin was going to have a baby too. God really is in the miracle business. I know so many women who have not been able to have a baby, but God, in this day and time, has allowed so many alternatives to natural children through adoption and artificial insemination. I don't know all the moral reserves of some people but I do know that if I really wanted a child, God can make that available to me. Having children involves responsibility. Some people are unaware of the tremendous time involved with raising a child. Elizabeth was well-advanced in age when she had John but she willingly accepted the sacrifice of child rearing. Mary was a child herself, but she also knew God was giving her a gift. Let's take our parenting and grandparenting seriously and realize the miracles given to us.
