Brother's Keeper

Genesis 4;9--"Then the Lord said to Cain, 'Where is your brother, Abel?' 'I don't know,' he replied. 'Am I my brother's keeper?' "

Why do we ask silly questions? Cain knew the answer to that question before he asked God. And why are we insolent to God? We do things, maybe not as bad as the Cain and Abel story, to make God sad. However, we do them anyway because we want to. We have no respect for authority and we really don't believe God's power when we disobey. Don't be like Cain and be put out of God's place for you by blantantly disobeying His laws. Do you believe that God was sincere in making the laws?--Then obey.

This art was put on a small spiral notebook measuring 3" x 5." I painted the cover, adhered a copy of my sister-in-law's family members, etched in gel medium, painted it gold and stained the painting with black gel stain. DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT THIS WEEK AND WIN A LITTLE EASTER BASKET (SEE SUNDAY, JAN. 27 POST FOR DETAILS.)
